Celestech solar eclipse safety glasses website shown on desktop, laptop, tablet and phone

Celestech is a Barcelona-based manufacturer of certified solar eclipse safety glasses and professional solar filters. With the 2026 total solar eclipse set to cross Spain, the brand needed a storefront ready for a once-in-a-generation moment, conveying the safety and precision of an ISO 12312-2 certified product while turning both first-time sky-watchers and bulk buyers into customers.

Project Requirements

  • A distinctive brand identity and visual system built around the eclipse, taken from design through to a production website.
  • A launch experience anchored by a live countdown to the 2026 solar eclipse.
  • Clear communication of certification and safety (ISO 12312-2, full UV and IR protection) to build trust quickly.
  • Two purchase paths: single retail orders and high-volume bulk / B2B ordering.
  • Multilingual support for an international audience.
  • A fast, fully responsive experience across desktop, tablet and mobile.

Project Overview

The Celestech site was designed and built end to end, from the visual identity through to a production Angular application. The result is a dark, cinematic storefront that puts the product's credibility front and center and guides both curious viewers and institutional buyers toward the right way to order.

The Challenge

A solar eclipse is a hard, immovable deadline. The site had to earn trust fast and convert a surge of time-sensitive traffic, while serving two very different audiences at once:

  • Building instant credibility for a safety product, where certification and clarity matter more than hype.
  • Serving both one-off consumers and bulk / wholesale buyers without splitting the experience.
  • Presenting a premium, animated brand world without sacrificing load speed on mobile.
  • Supporting multiple languages for visitors across Europe and beyond.

The Approach & Solution

Working from the initial designs through to the Angular build, the solution focused on trust, clarity and speed:

  • A cohesive visual system: eclipse-inspired art direction, refined typography and a dark palette with warm accents, carrying the premium feel from the hero all the way to checkout.
  • A live countdown to the 2026 eclipse that creates urgency and frames the whole campaign.
  • Dedicated paths for retail orders and bulk / B2B enquiries, each with its own clear call to action.
  • Certification and safety messaging surfaced prominently to reassure first-time buyers.
  • A component-based Angular architecture with multilingual content and a responsive layout tuned for mobile.

The Results

Celestech launched with a storefront that matches the ambition of the product: a distinctive, trustworthy brand presence ready for the 2026 eclipse. The design and build delivered one cohesive experience for both consumers and bulk buyers, a fast and fully responsive site across every device, and a foundation that is easy to extend as the campaign grows toward eclipse day.
